Question for those running some type of Ethanol tune

So I'm interested in getting a E30 tune but I only want to use it on the weekends or if I go to a drag strip, and on my daily commutes I would prefer to use just 93, so I'm curious if I'm at like a 1/4 tank of E30 and just top off with 93 will it be safe to just switch the tune or should I run the tank as low as possible before refilling ?

You should be fine because the content of ethanol vs the 93. From the start you are putting 3 gallons of e85 and 9 gallons of 93. Of course the safe answer is going to be to run the tank as much as you can go. The bigger thing would be that if you are running an aux fuel system to do some low boost pulls to clear out what ever is in the aux fuel lines out. With ethanol you are able to lean the car out more than on 93 so if you are monitoring your ignition corrections, knock count, and afr and everything is looking good then you are golden. Hope this helps.
The car can run up to E15 with stock tune so the ECU can compensate for it easily enough even with flash tunes, I had this conversation with Stratified last week. If you have 1/2 tank of E30 and fill the rest with pump gas it should be perfectly safe. I wouldn't top it off until at least half but it should be fine.
