Question about fuel treatment:

Apparently the 93 gas is $. 75 more per gallon than regular in my neck of the woods.
I have a 93 custom tune and don't necessarily want to cause issues by using regular gas.
I fill up twice a week since I moved so I'm really starting to feel it in the 'ol wallet.
I was thinking that maybe, just maybe someone would be able to tell me if there is a cheap fuel treatment I can add to regular gas to make it roughly the equivalent of running 93. Like an octane booster or something.
I know, I know, not possible and I should go jump off a bridge. Well I just figured I'd ask.
Thanks.

Only .75 a gallon difference? Go all out with just a $9 a fill up difference since you have the 93 tune. Trust me the smiles that you'll have will make it worth it. Guess it's another reason I'm glad the difference between regular and premium is about 40 cents. Back in the day it was under 30 cents between the two. Only other issue to consider is winter is right around the corner and the extra kick isn't needed when the snow and ice is on the road.

When are you coming out with more of your web series? They're awesome!

No clue on the fuel treatment, lol

Suck it up and use premium fuel.

Octane Boosters are a joke.

Unless its made from Xylene, or Toulene, it really doesn't work.

I get your point, and you're generally correct (as usual); but, I assure you Torco is no joke. It's basically heptane, octane, and napthalene with a touch of MMT. It is the real deal, and I never fill up without it. JP

ARGHHHHH!!
Damn you all and your valid points.
I've been using 93 since I got the car and recently took the tune off because I had an appt scheduled at the dealer for the harness recall. I filled up once with regular (and a stock tune) and thought my car was broken lol it felt so sluggish. Like how I feel after eating 50+ tacos.
Sigh. OK I'll just suck it up. Was just grasping at straws as they say. OK game over thanks for your replies.

And to the person who inquired about my web series, I no longer do it. Didn't get enough recognition and took too much of my time. I feel terrible about. I feel like I left my baby in a dumpster. I just gave up like a chump.
I mean after all, I posted here a while back telling you guys about it and I don't think I got a single comment. So you can see why I'd feel bummed.

I'd PM'd back and forth with you, I think I'd mentioned a couple times that I was looking forward to season 2, which I watched when you released a few :) sorry to hear you stopped, I think they were hilarious, plus sometimes you just have to do what you enjoy regardless of what others say or think or do.

I agree 100%.
The end result was enjoyable but everything in between was chaos torture frustration and pressure. I'm glad you enjoyed it. There were a decent amount of people that liked it. It got decent praise on Newgrounds.com for a while but in the end it was just too much for one person to draw/animate/produce.

Torco accelerator i hear is the real deal but youd have to find a local distributor or order it and have it shipped but a 32oz can is 28$ locally for me. So weigh the options

I am old and lazy, and a recent convert to 93 octane on a stock tune for the increased driveability and mid-range. I find it easier to find the name brand stations that aren't gouging premium (some "top tier" gases have a 35 to 40 cents difference, some "no-names" are as much as 60 cents!), stick the nozzle in and pay the man. No finding and carting around bottles of "juice", getting out the little funnel ...

what do you consider top tier?

Also semi unrelated if one was running a 93 octane tune (say, cobb?) and one accidentally put lower octane in would damage occur?
