Hey guys, new poster here. I've had an itch for a Focus ST because I've wanted a small, tossable, manual car for some time. Given the price and power, the Focus ST seems to sing right where I want it to. I've looked at the forums a bit but did not see a 'buying guide' particularly for used models. So I was hoping you guys could give me advice on things to look out for, other than your standard used car matters.

Here is one in particular -

Land vehicle Vehicle Car Ford Hatchback
Land vehicle Vehicle Car Mode of transport Automotive wheel system

It is a '13 (ST1 I believe). Here are some items I thought were noteworthy.

- 66k miles.
- Sony Headunit
- Recaro Seats
- $14k USD

Located in Orlando, FL

Do you think 66k miles is a safe buy for the '13 model? As well, what do you guys think a car like this is worth? It is currently listed at 14k where I'm looking at it from.

Thanks!

You didnt list the price... also do a carfax... and if it has recaros it is not an ST1.

Ah, good to hear! I'll get a carfax done as well. I haven't seen the car yet, but I plan to this weekend, so wanted to compile info before I went in.

Price is at bottom of OP, currently $14k on the nose.
Location plays a part, were are you located?

Updated OP, I am located in Orlando, FL.
Do they have interior pictures? Mainly the seats, shows what package it has.
OP updated with a picture of the interior.
So! Does anyone care to share their opinion as to whether this car is worth it or not, given the information?

Ill throw my 2 cents in if it matters. Bought mine CPO 3 months ago (2013 ST2 64XXX MILES), sticker was 14ish and after taxes, gap insurance, warranty, etc... it was 16ish. I live in california for what thats worth. I'm happy with the car might trade in for a newer ST when I refinance. At the end of the day its up to you, my car makes me happy
I have this exact same package, but a year newer and less miles. I paid 18k for my car and I love it. If it looks like it has been disrespected than I would skip it, but if clean and taken car of then go for it. My 2 cents about these cars are they are stiff and very precise machines. People get tired of the bouncing around and how tapping any of the petals a little to hard ends up jerking you around. Many times I come out of the car with a head ache from bouncing around. Another bad thing about the Recaro is the head rest doesn't have much room for error. So my wife cant' have her hair up and when I was first getting used to the car my head would bounce off it a lot.
