I was planning on redoing my pcv system and had some questions for guys who know more than I do. My plan was to use Radiums pcv plate, no pcv valve, run a -10an hose with a check valve (opening at 5psi) inline to a catch can. Then run a -10an hose to my intake manifold. Has anyone done this or have any advice on why this would not be the way to do it.

I think you'd want the check valve as close to the intake manifold as possible, so it's not pressurizing the can or hoses.

That's similar to what I have but I'm still using the pcv valve and -6 hose. I have the Mountune pcv plate which is basically the same plate bafflingwise but only has one hole for the pcv valve. Then I go up to my Moroso can in the firewall back to the manifold.

As said above the check valve should go as close to the manifold as possible.

In my case, using the pcv valve causes the whole system to pressurize but nothing has come of that.
