about a month ago, my ac stopped working properly. blew hot air periodically, then went back to normal. i initially ignored it as it’d only last a few seconds. i got a cobb ap, went to stage 2 (depo fmic, borla carback, rmm) and then the ac started getting worse and worse. i started to use the coolant gauge on my ap, and found that using the ac or sitting at idle for more than 2 minutes made my car overheat like crazy, i’m talking sometimes going up to the 220’s, and AZ summers don’t really help with this. i only drove it when absolutely necessary and with the ac off. took it to the dealership and they told me it was the radiator fan/control module which i’ve since replaced, but it’s still overheating. now i’m noticing a whining noise when accelerating, almost sounds like a supercharger, but when i’m not overheating and check to see if my boost pressure is normal, it is. my charge pipes are fine, along with the clamps. the last time i drove it the coolant temp got up to 237 F. with that the oil temps would skyrocket with it. i’m not throwing a check engine light, and i’ve NEVER beat on this car, as i’ve worked way too hard to get it just to demolish the engine… so idk why this stuff is happening. 80k miles.
