I don't have one so I can't speak from personal experience. Local shop Vorshlag has done some extensive testing on theirs you may find beneficial, however.
From what I've read it seems to heavily depend on driving style. Some people haven't had it shut off at all after a lot of track time. I think Ford has said they're going to release an RDU cooler which should fix it.
Go check out the RS forum there's loads of info. I read in there that oil temp wasn't a big issue but the RDU would shut down after so many laps and the brakes got soft on a few people
