Hey guys, i recently went open downpipe and i love the sound...only issue is right at about 2k rpm the bass level from the dump is almost unbearable. (i know i know i could just put my exhaust back on if i don't like it).
What i wondering is, has anyone done or seen an extension to the downpipe to push the dump a little further back more towards the rear subframe? Either that or would a angled dumb elbow do anything to re-route the sound so the side or down?

Seen, for the Focus? No. But this is easy to make at most any muffler shop.

You could even add this too:

Read up on a helmholtz resonator, which is what tries to reduce that drone at certain RPM's.
