Last car (N/A Scion TC) had custom exhaust with no cats, it smelled pretty bad, even worse when not using premium. Now with the ST on
E30 tune, I'm trying to decide to go catless or not. Question....does the E30 mix smell good? At Le Mans races they use E85 and that
smells so freakin good, does that translate down to E30? Not wanting another stinky catless car but sign me up for the corn baby, I'll be huffing
it from the exhaust pipe.

I never noticed much of a change when I went catless. If you are parked with the car running, with the windows down, on a day with no wind, for an extended period of time,...then it will smell. But, I never notice in normal day to day driving. I admit I don't have much traffic in my area(no traffic jams). I'm not sure why some people claim it smells so awful. And to awnser your question about e85, I noticed no smell difference in the exhaust running my e30 tune. I do love the smell of the e85 fuel though.

I am one of the guys who love the smell of a catless car...obviously I don't actively inhale carbon monoxide filled exhaust gases...but the occasional whiff of it bothers me none.
