Hey guys. I just filled up at an Arco I have been to a few times. I usually fill up at Arco or Shell.

After I left I did two hard 3rd to 4th gear pulls and dropped from -0.95 to -0.93 and then the second time I pulled I dropped to -0.90. So two straight pulls and two straight drops in OAR. I haven't had this happen before and I have been hovering around -0.95 to -0.97 for a while now.

Could this be the gas I got or something else?

Sounds like it's the gas. Do you use 93? I've only had my OAR leave -1 once in 11 months and I got it to go away with some octane booster, so you may want to try that.

while there is a TON of debate about which gas is better or worse, a common consensus among most is Arco = bleh. There's a reason its usually $.10+ cheaper.
No, this was not an invite to start another gas debate :in love:
I use Chevron, Mobil, and Shell, and have no major issues shown on the AP. The one time I put some "USA" gas in... huge knock among other things.

Never heard of Arco, must be a west coast thing. I try to use top tier gas stations so in New England that's usually Shell, Mobil and Sunoco as the major 3

Yea winter blend sux. I recently went to a citgo filled up and now i have a ping at higher rpm. The fix get a bottle of torco and you will be fine. All new England gas stations are on winter blend. It sux because they dont put as much additives as they should

The gas stations are on winter blend. I fill up at Cenex which my car loves. Now that the fuel is changed my OAR took it hard. I went from - 1 to -.78 in one day.

Glad to see this thread. Filled up yesterday at Sunoco with 93. Took a nice fall drive around the finger lakes and watched OAR drop all day even when switching to 91 tune. Was kind of nervous there was something wrong but winter blend makes sense.
