Hi all,

I’ve owned the vehicle for about a month now, and my mod list is steadily growing, so I thought i’d start a thread to keep track.

This vehicle is my daily driver which I traded my ’11 CTS-V for, so I’d like a bit of power (miss that a lot) with near-perfect reliability. The goal is subtle and tasteful. Most mods will be aesthetic, with the exception of a few power mods.

Vehicle: 2014 Focus ST3
Color: Race Red
Purchase Date: 11/28/2014

Mods (Updated frequently)

Current
-K&N Drop in Filter
-Saris Bicycle Trunk rack
-AVS Window Shades

-JBR 530g Heavy Shift Knob

Awaiting install (Mod Pile)

-FRRP Snorkel (CAI)

-Gloss Black Roof Vinyl
-Custom Ford Steering Wheel Overlay Vinyl

Future Planned

My wife and I enjoy road cycling, so I have a Saris Rack. I’ve placed roof racks on most other cars (MS3, WRX, STi, F07 GT), but I started using a trunk rack with the CTS-V due to the gas mileage reduction. This way, I can remove and add as needed.
To protect the paint, I’m using LAMIN-X clear protection vinyl anywhere the rack touches the car (illustrated by this blue tape).

Awesome. Lots of suttle things that add a lot to the appearance. I like what you did with the front/plastidip.

Of course. It looks good. I want to get more details on that cutout. I traded another member last night for my downpipe for his stock cat and like the sound but want some more loud when I feel frisky.
ask away! I am absolutely in love with mine, and for roughly $330 installed, I can't think of a better mod.

Here is the listing. Any exhaust shop should be able to install it either just after the down pipe or just after the resonator. My local one charged me $45 to cut/weld to the piping, and I wired the wireless module myself (I can do a write-up if necessary.

Is there a part number on those Magnaflow tips? I love the look!.

Thanks!

Here is the Amazon link. They are on sale for about $37. Amazon might still have a performance discount. Mine were $53 shipped for both.

Magnaflow 35124 Stainless Steel 2.25" Exhaust Tip https://www.amazon.com/dp/B000XQQ1TK/ref=cm_sw_r_awd_63VSub1FVC14P

Magnaflow Part number: 35124

They are 4" diameter and 2.25" in length. You'll have to have the shop add a small piece of piping to get them to sit out far enough.

Installed the Ford Racing Tunr and spark plugs, but sold off the snorkel as I didn't want to remove or hack up my bumper. May purchase it again. If I feel like I need it.

Very happy with the power increase vs the baseline above. Need to get it on a dyno to see what the true power gain is.

I'm in the process of selling my house so I'm a bit tied up, but next mod waiting for install is black vinyl on the roof.
