Just purchased a used 2013 Focus ST ST2 on the last day of 2017 for my new daily driver, and I'm very happy I did!

I work for a Ford store so I have had a few Fords, I have been daily driving a F-150 for the last 5 years. For the first couple years I really needed it I had 2 rental properties and I moved 3 times, so my 2009 F-150 got used but when I got my 2015 I no longer had the rental properties and I had bought a house so for 2 years my f-150 was just a commuter car for me. During this period I grew to miss my old daily before the trucks, 2003 Civic SI EP3 Hatch.

Well I feel back at home.

Not sure how my old mustang is going to fit into my new ST life but we will see.

Here is my new ST which currently has the snow tires and wheels on it and the rest of the cars in the stable.

look forward to picking minds here, I plan to get the ST up to stage 2/3ish this spring/summer I have already ordered the Access port and i'm thinking next would be a new intercooler on there for the cooling.

Any advice is greatly appreciated!

Nice collection, you'll love the ST and this forum is very friendly and helpful. Lots of good past threads you can read through.

I'm not so much into performance upgrades (although I appreciate them) but it seems like the FMIC is one of the first upgrades people do on these cars, that and the RMMs.

Welcome! I was raised in a Ford family who continues to this day to own Fords (Dad has another Explorer (replaced another Explorer, which replaced another Explorer), mom has an Escape (replaced her Escape lol), and I owned an Escort ZX2 before my ST).

Needless to say my car was a welcomed addition to the family

On the forum if you ever need help you'll find that most of the users are always happy to assist you, and several of the regulars on here that you'll see daily are great sources of info or can get you where you need to be. Feel free to PM or mention me ( @ then my name with no spaces) any time you may have a question and I'll happily help. Any "bad stuff" you see, feel free to contact one of us Moderators.

You're looking for mods, like most others, and there is a typical suggested path. Something along the lines of "Rear Motor Mount, Front Mount Intercooler (stock one is awful), downpipe (cat back is only for sound...does nothing for power on this car), high flow air filter/intake, top off the performance parts with a nice tune, suspension parts, shifter parts, cosmetics, etc."

Some useful threads, amongst many others you might like:

Thanks for the info! a rear mount is a priority considering I have 2013, before they started using the eFocus mount.

The wheel hop is real....
