I had these wheels on my Veloster, thinking about buying a set for the Focus as well, they are light and affordable, the best of both worlds.

Thanks! My girlfriend isn't a huge fan, she thinks they are a little too aggressive for a 30-something professional (shes probably right) but I like them a lot more than the stock wheels

 

More importantly then how they look... How does the car feel with that much unsprung weight lost? It should steer and accelerate better..

You saved 5 lbs per corner, so 20 lbs total. But its rotational weight so its equivalent to 4 times the dry weight. It should have the effect of removing 80 lbs of dry weight. And every 10 lbs lost = the equivalent of 1 hp, you basically added 8 hp!

 

Keeping in the mind that the stock Goodyears are a little heavier than the winter pirellis I had on (the F1s are ~1.5 lbs heavier) it still does feel a tad lighter and more responsive (may be placebo effect or just the F1s being a lot better than everything over 40 degrees). I have yet to really get on it but this weekend it's supposed to be in the 50s so I'm probably going for a little drive

 

Actually, I'm not sure the 61mm will fit (the cap is more like 63mm in diameter). Waiting to hear back from tirerack

 

Just ordered my assetos garas in white.SShould be here Friday and I'll probably mount over the weekend. Depending on weather.

 

I got off the phone with tirerack, they say that hte 61mm black without logo center caps are the ones i need for the 18" assetto garas...we will know friday-ish if they work. I think the wheels will look much better without the sparco logo in the center. I already removed the sparco decals along the outside of the wheels

Should be a decent choice, but pricey for what you get. (tad bit more wet performance than the R-S3)

I loved my Nitto Invos for a summer tire. The NT05's are good too.

IMO, these are of a much lower performance category than any of the tires listed. The NT05 were more of a competitor to the R-S2, RE01R and direzza z1 pre-star spec.

I reallly and i mean reallly love the willwood big breaks. they look so good and then to top off the stopping power the tires are amazing. also great wheel choice. all around great taste. i would say your car should grip the road way better and stop on a dime.

You can find some more pictures in the brake thread under Wilwood Brakes: R&D. I'm still needing to finish up the rear install with new rotors, but the difference in fade resistance is noticeable with just the fronts.
