Just bought a 2013 ford focus st with 18k miles. It is my third day with it and I am really liking it. It didnt come with the engine cover but it is all good. Liking the way it accelerates, maybe because i came from a kia spectra5 that has no power whatsoever. Looking forward to getting into learning everything about the car. I'm totally new to a turbo powered car but I do know some people that has one. Would be great to hear advices and lessons to the veteran st owners in here.IMG_4620.jpg

Thanks selucius, i will look into that. Actually is there an easy/quick way to tell if it is done or not? Sorry if it is a noob question. Thanks again.
Nobody talks about the 1-2 shift-bang any more because it was only a thing on the 2013 model. I believe if you give it some spirited acceleration from a stand-still, you will find out quickly if it's been done.

I have been shifting hard from 1-2 and hear nothing bad. I've researched quite a bit about them too. I just found one thing though, when I turn my steering wheel all the way to the left and slowly move forward, I keep hearing popping sounds. I searched in the forums and found out that it might be the strut bearings or something. Gonna look into it this Saturday. Anyways thanks for all the info guys. I appreciate it.
