Hey guys my name is Garrett. Im from Temecula,CA. I work for Porsche of San Diego as a Technician. Currently i do not have an ST, but i am in the market for one right now so i figure what a better time to join the forum then right now! Im looking for a gently used ST2 or ST3 (ST3 preferred) and i joined so i can learn about the cars and that will help aid my search. Then after i buy one ill start modding it into a sweet ST, and this forum will probably be very helpful in that sense too haha. Stoked to be on the forum, thanks everyone!

Welcome. I haven't been to Temecula in a while but it's a beautiful city. A lot of nice roads around there to enjoy an ST! I keep my ST in the KC area & a Mustang in SoCal - and there have been quite a few times I'd rather have the ST there (other than weekend traffic on I-5).

My only comment on ST1 vs. ST2 vs. ST3 is that the ST1 is fantastic if you want to upgrade the stereo & don't miss some minor things like heated seats/steering wheel. For the most part forget about pulling the stereo out of the ST2/ST3. The ST1 seats are better if you want some comfort - but I personally really like the ST3 Recaro's.

I've been a Porsche tech for 6 months, still an apprentice. Still hourly. Making decent money for an hourly tech, but the real money starts coming when I go to flat rate. Love my job though I wouldn't change it for anything

Thanks for the comment! Yeah I really love the st3 interior, and the factory bi-xenon headlights. Looking at a 2014 ST3 right now and if all goes well that's what I'll end up with
