Anyone has installed an anodrid unit on 2015 st3?

 

I don't want to sound negative but you're probably going to be the first person to do this and if you don't have the knowhow, you're probably better off paying a professional to do it or just using the verified aftermarket options out there. If you have a ST3, you may lose functionality by ditching the stock headunit as well. Either way, it sounds like the wiring harnesses are different and without an adapter (which probably doesn't exist), you're looking at either making your own adapter or splicing the cables together.

in fact i'm messaging with them but my problem is steering wheel command and rear camera; i tried with headunit on focus 2014 and my st3 2015... on sync1 of 2014 the cable that contains video and wheel controls it's the cable connected on display (and it's plug&play) but on my sync2 the cable is different, so i'm in trouble to understand what i have to search

This is for a 2016, but should be similar to your 15. It's the one i reference. Good luck finding wiring.

This should work on your car. The smaller android auto ones will NOT work as the lock/unlock button has moved away from the head unit after '14 models.

I bought one from ebay, very similar, it should be here this week, did you moddedt he wirring? mine is a fost 14 with sync2

There is one connector that doesnt fit, that connects the hazzard lights/ powerdoorlocks
so far I can see the doors open ac controls on the radio, but the hazzard switch isnt working neither is the audio or steering controls. how you made it work?

Mmm there is a connector for blizzard lights but the buttons are without lights... It works only the blizzard.

I just repackage this radio and its going back to the ebay seller, to much going on, some connectors are different, one of the connectors connects to each other but the wires don't meet at all, they are in different positions, I have NO sound, No hazzard/doorlock function or steering wheel controls on my ST 2014 with (stock Sync 2) ......Not to mention that the sun glare is awful during a sunny day, I tried it yesterday that was cloudly and it was fine though.

 

I have the same problem on my 2015 but i want to manage all issues

uhm...i found that the swc needs 3 cables!!!
key1, key2 and...GND!!! i need to understand which cable of this HU is swc gnd...

EDIT: another thing... i need to put the gps in a better position cause is slow... any suggestion?

i have unmounted the HU, so i'm going to check better this evening

 

I really like the look of those android head units but all of the reviews are terrible. They are all Chinese garbage and they pretty much all fail within a few years.

 

I hope to solve soon the swc problem cause for the rest is perfect for me. Anyone found the same radio for 2015+?
