Hi guys, pura vida!

I have a 2013 OW ST2, without sunroof. It has 30k milles right now.

Pretty nice forum and community, a lot things to read and know about our cars. I have been reading for a year but just recently started to post.
Streets here in Costa Rica are awful so I have been suffering from the strut bearing issue. I can tell you that the front suspension of these cars is not made for bumpy roads, the clunking noise is anoying.

I had only seen 2 more STs on the streets. I anyone else from Costa Rica here?

Here is a picture in its natural habitat.

I already check it three times in one year. I have changed strut bearings twice and the issue comes back after a couple of weeks.

My wife and I took our honeymoon in Costa Rica. We flew into Liberia and made our way to Arenal, then to Playa Hermosa. What a breathtaking country! We rented a Camry and we were surprised how well it took the pot holes and rocky paths. The ST on the other hand.... I can see why you may have some issues with suspension. I would maybe suggest using some blue loc-tite on the upper strut nuts, also try to get them torqued to to spec if you have the tools. The symptoms for a loose strut bearing are the same as for a failed strut bearing.
