You can run this piece off the Symposer Delete or the factory vacuum source. Both work great.
Can Boomba hook me up with a barb, cap and tubing to make this mod? I assume I can just slap a rubber/vinyl cap over the solenoid and be gtg.You can run this piece off the Symposer Delete or the factory vacuum source. Both work great.
Everything you need to know about running the Adjustable BPV off of the symposer delete plate is located in this thread: http://www.focusst.org/forum/focus-st-performance/45901-bov-vacuum-source-4.html Check out @angrychair thread on page 4 for details. The rest of the thread has some good stuff in it too.Can Boomba hook me up with a barb, cap and tubing to make this mod? I assume I can just slap a rubber/vinyl cap over the solenoid and be gtg.
Or what are the specs for the barb and I can source it myself?
I just got a BOV and I’m excited to get it on the car. I am very impressed with everything Boomba makes. I have a symposer delete, IM spacer and the entire short shift kit. Everything has been A+.
Our fully adjustable bypass valve and also the blow off valve from the Focus ST will work just fine on a 2016 Escape with the 2.0 ecoboost. We also sent you a pm.Just curious, would this fit the 2.0 ecoboost in the 2013-2016 Ford Escapes? I own a 2016 Escape with the 2.0 and a lot of the parts designed for the Focus ST work on the Escape. If not, is there any plans of releasing a version for the Escape? I'd be very interested in this.
Even with all the screws removed, it is significantly quieter than our full VTA BOV. With all the screws removed it is around 40% vent and 60% recirc. With all the screws removed, is it fully VTA BOV or still a partial re-circulation? In other words, how much does each screw VTA?
My old lady enjoys it lolMy wife is giving me hell about my noisy full VTA. Got a trade in program? <img src="http://www.focusst.org/forum/images/smilies/wink.png" border="0" alt="" title="Wink" class="inlineimg" />
I'll list it in the classifieds soon and will end up with this adjustable unit shortly thereafter.
