Hello all,

New owner of 2016 ST. I did a lot of comparison shopping between the usual suspects and in the end felt the ST had the best fun to cost ratio.

One question. A Forbes Article, via Consumer reports, really slammed the reliability of the Focus (and Fiesta).

Anyone have any insight into the reasons?

Congrats, We have two ST3s, a 13 & 14. They've both been more fun and more reliable than past BMWs & Mercedes. Absolutely the most fun driver's car for the money.

I've heard that the term "reliability" is used very loosely with these consumer reports. As in, people that have issues navigating the infotainment system will count against reliability

Hello to Brentwood. Have you any experience with customizations? Specifically suspension, tunes, turbos, etc. I've been trying to find someone worth while in the eastern TN area and it just seems really hard to find anyone who has the respect and experience to do the job right.

Unfortunately between kids and work I just don't have the time, or the space and tools, to do the job myself.

I don't but from what I understand there's a pretty active middle Tennessee ST group on Facebook. I'm not into social media but if you have an account look them up. Could be a good resource. Good Luck & enjoy the car.

I think it has to do with the auto in the other models of the Focus. Lots of complaints.

Great looking car!

FWIW, I haven't heard a lot of complaints from owners who leave their cars stock. I got a 2016 ST1 in July and I'm about 10,000 miles in, no complaints. It's a good daily driver.
