Hi Everyone,

I was topping up some fluids today and came across this material in the picture just shredded to bits and jammed in my engine cover hole where the dipstick resides.

this was an animal of some sort unsure what, this stuff is everywhere in my engine bay, does have any idea what this is or where it came from? the picture isn't perfect but i managed to retain some sort of shape to what it was at one point.

any help would be great full!

That looks like it came out of the fender liner.

checked the engine cover, its fine, thats thicker foam.

fender liner, how impacting would it be with this now missing? lol if i were to get a new one is this even install able?

It's just sound deadening material. Nothing major.
