1st thing was to lower it - Eibach Pro-kit - Thread: RallySportDirect.com introduces Eibach Pro-Kit Lowering Springs!
photo (34).JPG

Wish it was a little lower but good enough

Next was the Cobb AccessPort w/ FSWERKS tune - Thread: FSWerks programming for Cobb AccessPORT is finished! Dyno chart inside!

Randy answered every question I threw at him and more! And he seems to be online 7 days a week 24 hours a day :)

Then I started thinking about cold air intakes by FSWERKS, COBB, etc, until I saw this: Thread: Ford Racing Cold Air Intake Review
So here came the Ford Racing Cold Air Intake KIT - consisting of a "Inlet snorkel" & K&N Filter "closed top" (pic below shows the difference closed and open K&N)

Not really a good pic of the "snorkel", but that is the front grill of our cars - I ran with the "closed top" filter for a couple of weeks

Then another friend suggested that I get a "K&N", "Cobb" "Green" filter (which all are open top) - I ended up getting the Cobb, which is on the car now.
This was a surprise! The car started to respond much much better! And the sound was pretty cool too!

No, sorry... I'm doing a downpipe and cbe next and I was told that next time (they were pushed for time on their dyno today) I will be able to change maps/tunes and bolt-ons in between runs... the results do have me questioning things...

I just bought my TS ST3 August 8. I live in Maryland, 20 mins from DC and less than an hour away from Sterling. Not sure where abouts you're from but I'm interested to know if you're aware of any car meets or anything? I'm really interested to see what other people have done to their cars and checking them out in person. Especially a COBB CBE.

I'm surprised those numbers aren't higher considering the mods you have done...
Me too.. I'm going to get the downpipe and cbe (which one i have no idea) and then get this thing PROtuned. But I'm pretty happy, fmic, half an intake tube, runner plate, and tune from FSWERKS. Approx 1900 bills for 243 / 320 to the wheel. I guess I can always see what that translates to in a 1/4 mile right lol..

Nice and Congrats! The meets do come up every now and then.. There was one in your neck of the woods about a month ago and turn out for STs was pretty good from what I hear.. I'm like you, love seeing what others have done to their cars (especially ours).. You can join a couple groups on this forum.. One being http://www.focusst.org/forum/north-eastern-owners/3431-maryland-spotted-thread.html and subscribe to this one.. http://www.focusst.org/forum/southeast-owners/1195-virginia-st-owners-thread.html..

Funny you mentioned cobb's cbe.. What do you think of it?

What's bugging me is FSWERKS tune by itself is advertised to get a completely stock ST to 235whp and 332wtq... you are at 243whp and 320wtq. Therefore, your hp numbers are looking pretty normal for the mods, but your torque should be closer to 350-360 I would think...

Differant dyno, though you can't compare one dyno to the next. Hell even your car can put out differant numbers on the same dyno, on differant days, etc.
