Sort of a long story
Background - car has ~52,000 miles, mildly modded running Cobb OTS stage 2 tune. Been problem free.
Few weeks ago driving down the road I get "engine fault service now" on center of gauge cluster. P2610 code also. Car won't start and every light gauge cluster is lit up. Happened at a stop sign so push it to side of the road, scan and see code, get pissed, call the wife.... After a few minute I press start and start and back to normal. Go home de-tune it scan it again and shows same code as pending code.
Cannot immediately get to dealer, of course their working hours are the same as mine. About week later I get "starter fault message" and won't start. Get out check battery connections all good. Jump back in starts right up. Scan, no codes and P2610 is not showing anymore either. Driving it de-tuned sux too, even though I only run OTS it is a world of difference.
I do have the battery ground and the body grounds cleaned and tied together for well over a year now.
On the way to work I get the engine fault display again and the this time airbag light comes on and stays on. Go to work, about 2 hours before I can leave, get in start it up and light is gone and no obd codes. Take it to the dealer and given them the whole story. (Edit) forgot to add cruise control was gone too.
I was smart enough to run sync health report
They get the car in 2 days later and find multiple networking codes but no problems. I would think multiple network codes is a problem...
Anyone have any thoughts on this?
I suspect an electrical problem, ground or short issues but idea where to look. Car has had the wiring TSB ~2 years ago. Did not have the idle issue just had it done since they would...
