Just got done with the install, great kit. Just did my first test pulls to make sure everything was good to go.

Car made more power then when it was full bolt ons, Why did I wait so long to do this ?

Install was pretty straight forward, only problem was the heat shield wouldn't come off the STock turbo.

Two days in the freezing cold with the car on jack stands was totally worth it.

These are the first two logs on the test tune.

Having trouble seeing your numbers. Is that 307/327?

I am debating on adding an E??, I just have to get the 93 oct tune completed. This will give me time to decide on Aux or E
just wait until tuning starts... you will likely end up easily making 330hp/360tq every base tune ive seen for this kit makes very similar numbers to yours, the first revision is usually a pretty big step forward and the second revisions is also a pretty decent step up in power.

Hey Brothers , the test logs were 307whp 327wtq. VenomousSVT that is great to hear, sounds like I may have installed everything right. Just waiting for to go ahead to log the Mellow Tune.
oh yeah. I was dead set on that kit as well, but ultimately decided to hold off and just trade the car for a new GT after the 2018 facelift. It is a great kit and makes very good numbers safely. You can make more power with different kits from the tuners but the fit and finish and the spool of this EFR kit is so nice.

Just read up on that turbo, seems great, big performance gains, 350/375 would be insane, I can't even imagine.

Really need a quaife limited slip at that point imo!

How does this unit compare to the gtx2876r?

Nice choice on the GT, I had A 13GT with a Maggie Supercharger in it. Car was great, made 518 Whp and 450 wtq on 5-6 psi of boost at redline. The reworked Coyote is crazy with boost, you will enjoy it. I went with a base because I knew I was going to change everything.

AngryChair, I cant speak on the other kits. But for me I went with this kit because it was like OEM fitment. The only problems I ran into were:

1. OEM heat shield bolts would not come off. Had to cut it up to get the OEM turbo off.
2. 2nd O2 wire would not reach the harness without me removing it from the mount, then I had to zip tie it away from the hot parts. (Everything reached)
3. I used the OEM hotside pipe which caused a small kink in the hose coming off the turbo. I ordered the Mountune one to replace it.

These cons are mostly OEM stuff, I was still able to install everything with basic tools. And I made it without getting any cuts on me.

The O2 could be a mix of things, they may of changed the O2 for the 15MY. Who knows

Having this kit, I would recommend trying part-throttle 2nd and 3rd gear pulls before you are done tuning. During these pulls I would get a p061b code and the car entered limp mode. I noticed this mostly in 2nd gear, but happened in 3rd as well. A few corrections made by Randy "mostly" fixed the issue. I would definitely take his recommendation to take a few days of driving before sending in the next log reviews, it really does help to notice these small issues.

Perhaps Randy has already fixed the issue, as it has been some time since I went through the process, but something to look out for.

i came from a 698rwhp cobra... ive only ever had mustangs and cobras. I bought my duramax and sold my cobra, sold my duramax and bought my ST... I drove 15 gt's when I bought my ST but really wanted a hothatch so I save some coin and bought the ST anyways. I figured Id have it for 3 years max, we MAY see 4 in it.. then itll be time to be back into a RWD pony car

Nice, he told me to drive it for a day or two. Its raining here in Beaufort, but I plan on driving it about 200 miles. Going to drive it to Charleston, then take it on the interstate for some higher speed driving.

I haven't driven an S550 yet, but some of the boosted ones around Savannah are crazy fast. I had a MK1 Focus and that thing lasted forever, brought me back to the model.

I was also pretty set on picking up the MRX kit but after calculating the cost as opposed to the GTX based on the mods I already have, it was cheaper to go GTX. Still love the EFR kits

I hear you, I already had the downpipe and turbo inlet. Other then that everything else works with it.

Quick update, We are on Rev 2. Only thing I had to change was the Hotside pipe. Didn't like the way to OEM pipe connected to the hose.

Always fun to compare settings, No idea if I am doing this right !!
