My Maxton front lip started getting chewed up by the crappy Michigan roads, so I did what I did on my Subaru, and put a DIY lip under it.
I actually quite like the look (even though the lip is dirty in both pictures).

My car's really not that low (on purpose) but it looks DAMN low from the front now.
Kinda crappy pictures, but just thought I'd share.

@TORA Use a garage door bottom seal, its the same thing as some of the stuff some companies sell and the garage seal is like $5 at home depot then either use 3m adhesive tape or machine screws and washers to hold it in place

Someone should do a write-up on this and I guarantee people (me) will start doing this. It's like the dip vs paint on wheels. Cheaper and maybe less durable, but really nice if done well.

I also don't see why you couldn't do the same thing for the sides tbh.

Do you think the 3m tape would hold up at high speed?

I have seen some of the kits and they come with the automotive 3m tape. Its pretty tacky stuff. If you install a spoiler lip or diffuser fins, they will be stuck on using 3m tape, I dont think the speed will be an issue

I have the Maxton front lip and have not scraped it yet. I'm stock suspension.
I'm just on Eibachs and already have a chunk out of mine, and I'm used to having a low car.

Here's another picture; I've decided I like it a lot. It looks much meaner compared to a stock car, but if you didn't know the car you could hardly tell it was aftermarket, which is what I'm all about.

Just the Maxton lip on it's own looks great, too, much better than the street scene one IMO. Looks factory.
