LSD as first mod?

Seems like this mod first makes the most sense to me, and I believe the Mfactory unit isn't that much more then a tune [install aside of course].

I work in a shop so install would be virtually free and I feel like it would be way more beneficial then adding power to car a car that cant get power to the wheels.

I also wonder how the 2 would fair against each other on a track.

I think that's a perfect "first mod" since it should have come with it at least as an option. I'd suggest a bigger fmic as the second mod.

Exactly what I was thinking.

Get traction and prevent heat soak makes way more sense then me than adding power.
Labor is expansive to add that LSD BUT. If your a tech should be cool

Enough said !!!!

I'd get this in a heartbeat if a shop in Australia has actually installed one. Unfortunately, no one nearby has done it yet.

Well. Hmmm.

The LSD is nice and all, but on the stock ford programming, I don't think it takes priority over Tune and Fmic. It takes a bit of time to do the whole job, like 7-10 hours, maybe more depending on your skill level.. I know, I installed my Mfactory.

Do you plan on going big turbo? Motor build?

Normally people just get to know the car, move up to stage three, realize how much traction they dont have at 350 plus whtq, then it turns into a LSD and clutch job to prepare for the future.

If you are cool with dropping the trans later for a clutch, then go at it. I have some experience in trans installation and removal. It takes some time.

I lean towards Tune, Rmm, Fmic, LSD,DP, Exhaust, full mounts, BT. Personally I wouldnt go big turbo without an LSD.

Is this your Daily, or a project?
