Hi all, so I was driving down the road today and I lost most of my boost, the gauge still registered a little bit and I could hear the turbo slightly. I park up for a while and the engine had cooled down a bit, drove down the road and it was fine. Any one had the same thing happen?

There's lots of threads about this, i would recommend searching - also - you haven't provided much info.

Any mods done? Any codes being thrown? I would start with checking Charge pipes, a common area for boost pressure loss.

Sounds like a loss of reference signal to either the WGA solenoid or the actuator itself. DTC's would definitely help diagnose this better.

Sorry my car is a MK3 facelift ST and it has a mishimoto induction kit, airtec intercooler and I replaced the middle box for a straight pipe. I recently had it mapped as well. Have checked all pipe work and can’t see any leaks anywhere. But not checked for codes. It’s been fine since and has only ever done it that 1 time
