So I'm looking to get Stratified's E85 tune and I'm hesitating and here's why.
1. I will be using 91oct since I live in Cali and I have an ethanol pump like 1 mile away from my house, PERFECT!
2. On their website for data log option it mentions "highly recommended if running 91 octane" meaning I would have to send in a data log, for additional cost and idk how I am able to send one.
3. Do I REALLY have to go with the data log option? Is there anyone who just ordered the tune and installed, basically plug and play and everything was okay?

I know there's threads on the tune and so forth but none with some questions I had. Don't need anyone getting upset with my noob post, just seeking help.

Thanks ST fam!!

If you flash the tune onto your car just monitor everything yourself and keep track of Ignition Corrections. If you get a lot of negatives or if something goes/feels wrong then purchase a log revision and contact Strat to try and solve it. 91 is very fickle, which is why they recommend it. Also, in a lot of places 91 is avoided which means it sits in the tank and gets gross from not being turned over from use.

How do you think e85 feels. Talk about avoided.
