"Leather Honey"

Has anyone ever used this stuff long-term?

I've always been very reluctant to use anything on leather because I absolutely cannot stand that "shiny" look most often left behind by most products, so I stick with soft cloth and plain water for cleaning off any spots that get on the leather.
But I've been seeing this stuff and I am curious if it does what others are saying it does without changing the look and the feel of the factory leather. My only real concern is that over time, the leather will eventually dry out and start cracking.

Any opinions on this stuff or any others that are proven over time?

Modern cars use leather which is PU coated, so any product suited to boot leather, saddles etc will not really be suitable.
Get a product that is designed only for auto leather interiors for best results. Or don't, really is your call.

Check out Bowden's Own. You might not get the product there, but a lot of articles on their site regarding detailing etc that's well worth reading.

I never had leather before and when I first got here there were a lot of posts about Lexol. I bought a kit of cleaner conditioner on Amazon and have been pretty happy with annual treatments.

I've never tried the Leather Honey you linked, but having used a few different leather conditioners for the couch, and other things; I finally ran into this stuff at the local Ford dealership. Easily the best conditioner I've ever used for leather, and less/minimal residue after a good hand massage. It's my go-to now and I highly recommend it!

I wonder, does the honey part of the name mean it sticks you in the seat better so you don't slide? 🤔😁
Probably attracts bears. 🤷‍♀️

Funkyzero, I've used a bunch of products over the years on my 96 mustang. From zymol (I think) to meguiars leather lotion, to Mopar brand vinyl and leather cleaner/conditioner. I've owned the car 16 years And the seats are still hardening and just started tearing at certain stitches. Bums me out. I'd like to think that they prolonged the life of the seats though.

I've used the Mopar stuff on the ST. It's thin and doesn't leave behind a shimmer or residue.
