So when monitoring the knock sensor on my AP, i just get numbers with no units. What do they mean? What is a good or bad range for them to be in? Last time i checked i think my knock sensor was running in-between 20 to 200...

Ideally, you don't want to see negative corrections. That is rarely the case, though, even with the stock calibration. Small corrections are OK if they are brief. For WOT up to -1 is OK if it's brief. For low load and low boost or no boost you may see greater corrections depending on the conditions and load and that's OK, as long as it's brief.

Just bringing this back for a second. On relatively heavy consistent throttle I see the ign corr cyl 1value increase up to 5.0 then returns to zero when off the throttle. Never see negative numbers which is good. What does the positive numbers relate to?

The positive value means that the car has good fuel and there is some room for more spark in the programming, generally speaking. :)
