Last night i watched a video about lspi, so i decided to check out what my knock sensors were reading under a load. Cylinder 2 kept getting 1 knock reading while the other cylinders saw nothing. After i checked the knock sensors i looked at the lnjector power cycles and cylinder 2 had the lowest reading. Could this be why im getting knock? Should i be worried? Do i need to clean or replace the injector?

I can't really answer your question because I'm not knowledgeable about Injectors in any way, however how often do you see an AFR of 9.xx? Because that's VERY rich...if it's just a fluke then it's nbd, but if it commonly reads that low then your car is running pretty rich.

These cars knock, its okay. Its when you have a negative knock you need to start to worry! In my car I have 1 knock in each cylinder. Are you running a custom tune or Cobb's off the self?

1 count of knock is fine. When you have 3+, worry.

If you're worried about your tune, talk with Stratified.

Just curious, what do you mean by negative knock? You mean negative ignition correction?

:whs: Our cars are prone to false knock at times. Once you start modding things such as downpipes could rattle slightly and make it sound like a "knock" so like Will said, if you see it spike big time then there is a serious issue.

That clears that up. Must have been a random little spike. I get those down in the 10.4 range sometimes when I suddenly go WOT.

Is injector pwr similar to injector duty cycle? That is an interesting discovery, since the 2.0 ecoboost does not have any individual cylinder readings other than knock. My best guess is that the knock event caused some change in ignition timing, and subsequent change in fueling. I like your accessport bezel, is it flat black?

I've only noticed mine doing it when I first lift off after a wot pull. Its only like a split second then goes to 43 afr

I believe so! Also thank you, yes it is flat black. I didnt care for the gray bezel it came with so I switched it out.

Hey guys, so I'm still new to reading data from the AP and decided to check the knock counts under heavy pull, and after reading this thread got kinda worried.

Like I said I'm still pretty new to understanding engine knock so would really appreciate any advice here.

1 knock isnt **** for you to worry about. Our cars have very sensitive knock sensors. So it will read knock all the time
