Hello all. First time poster.

I have the 15+ ST1 headlights and I noticed that the LED DRL light gets dimmer when the headlight is turned on. Is there any way to keep the DRLs bright with the headlight on? I'm assuming the wires to the DRLs can be spliced to only use the bright setting. Has anyone tried doing this?

Doubt it's possible. It's a safety feature. The DRL shouldn't overpower the headlights (that would kind of defeat the purpose). It's less prominent on the ST2/ST3 because there's more of a distinction between the LED strip and light coming from the projector.

I believe ST2 has HID. This may be why it's different. I think they may have dimmed the DRL when headlight is on so brightness of DRL and headlight are similar, for appearance purposes. I'm mainly asking because I plan to do an HID retrofit eventually and would like the DRL to stay bright. Also bright DRL should not affect headlight performance.

Don't mean to thread jack, but would it be possible to run the turn signals as DRL on the 13-14's?
