I have not looked at hot side pipes yet. How much more room is there? I’d consider it if it considerably easier but cold side should be (at least theoretically) better from my research 🧐.
I’m trying to do the project in bite size pieces as much as possible to limit the troubleshooting scope to one change at a time to ensure the car will run on Monday morning after a weekend mod.

Hot side mounted BOVs give you tons more room. The cold pipe jams the BOV between the AC compressor and radiator.
