JBR cold side pipe or CPE exhale for Tial BOV?

Is one easier to install or significantly better than the other? The price diff is no big deal. It’ll be going on a 2016 ST with stock turbo for now but a GTX2860R gen 2 will be installed late June or early July. Ease of install is key because the car will just be on ramps when I put it in, which will be a tight fit (for me).

The cold side is very tight, there is no easy install over there. Have you considered a hot side pipe?

I have not looked at hot side pipes yet. How much more room is there? I’d consider it if it considerably easier but cold side should be (at least theoretically) better from my research 🧐.
I’m trying to do the project in bite size pieces as much as possible to limit the troubleshooting scope to one change at a time to ensure the car will run on Monday morning after a weekend mod.

Hot side mounted BOVs give you tons more room. The cold pipe jams the BOV between the AC compressor and radiator.

3p performance makes them.

If you really will be installing the turbo in the coming months, I would just say wait and install them both at the same time. BC you will have to remove/install both hot and cold charge pipes, IMO you will be doing double the work.

HUGE emphasis on using a light amount of WD-40 to fit the couplers. It will enable you to fit them on and reposition them as comfortably as possible. I promise you as long as you do this, you'll finish in under 1.5 hours. This is the only reason you'd have any trouble. If you did not lube up those couplers.

I got the JBR kit. No issues. The instructions on their support page are solid.

If I could do it, you could 1000% do it.
Give us a look while you're shopping around and give me a shout via PM if you've got questions or are interested in a coupon code!

I like the CVFab kit better than both and it's cheaper. Win win. And run a Turbosmart Raceport BOV. Significantly smaller than the Tial

Hair spray is a much better choice to use.
@CVF-Jason could you PM me with any current offers for the catted downpipe?
