Difficult to tell in that picture. It would be unusual in such a new car. I would suggest washing it and hitting it with a clay bar. If that doesn't fix it your paint is under warranty, bring it to the dealer.

I get hard water here in southern GA too, it's not that. Hard to get a good picture of it. Though there are hard water stains around the area I'm trying to show

It shouldn't be clearcoat coming off. It does look like hard water stains. Either that, or if you let bird **** stay on your paint too long, it will etch your clearcoat like that. Not the end of the world, you just need to compound the paint to get it out.

Looks like a contaminant etched into the paint. Could be bird poo, could be something else.

Start with the least aggressive method of removal and work your way up until its gone or you're about to damage clearcoat.

I HIGHLY doubt any dealership would warranty that, but they might give you a break on a re-shoot if it comes to that.

Looks like hard water and other contaminants etched into the paint.

Start with a fine clay and clay lube to try and remove them. If they are deeper than that, you'll want to move up to medium grade, but will need to follow up with a polisher. Depending on how etched they are, you'll need to compound or polish them out and most likely multiple passes.

I vote hard water stains. Try vinegar buddy, it's cheap, pour some on a microfiber and give it a massage. Also there are other more expensive hard water removers, and water treatments for washing your car with.

I would say be careful with this. I had bird poop on my rear bumper and it was there less than 12 hours. I cleaned it off and it left what I thought was etching. So I tried polishing it. Turned out it ate the clearcoat off and I started polishing straight paint. The finish on the bumpers of these cars suck.
