My rims were pretty caked good. This stuff works wonders for removing just about anything. Your thoughts please. D'Gel 1Gallon Jug - D'Gel Solvent/Degreasers - Consumables - Fiber Instrument Sales
I have no experience with this stuff, but I wouldn't be willing to put that stuff anywhere near my car. Just use some good wheel cleaner that you already know is safe. I see it says safe for painted surfaces so it will probably be fine but I personally wouldn't risk it.

Agree with care is needed. Automotive paint is actually pretty fragile to chemicals. So I would also say do not use it unless you like being a test victim.

Sonax Full Effect wheel cleaner is what I use on my BMW wheels. I really don't find the brake dust bad on the ST, but I also coated the wheels when new.

Get the Eagle One wheel cleaner in the orange spray bottle.

I've used Sonax and Griots Garage wheel cleaners and the Eagle One is every bit as good and a lot cheaper (and it doesn't smell horrendous like those others).

Safe, effective and cheap. Great product.

Use 3D BDX Brake Dust Remover. The more it stinks, the more it is working.
