Hey everyone,
My name is John. I am not the owner of a Focus ST but I am looking to purchase one in the coming weeks. I hope once I become the owner of one of these cars I can contribute more to this forum.
I am unfortunately leaving the Nissan community, I have owned a 2004 Nissan 350z Touring model with a 6-spd in Silverstone for 12+ years until just recently when it was totaled by an irresponsible driver. I was very involved in the 350z community since 2002 and a member as well as a moderator for one of the largest forums.
It is really hard moving on after owning a car like the 350z for 12+ years, most would assume the 370z could replace it, if that were the case, I would have traded mine in for a 370z in 2009 when it was released. When my 350z was new, it competed with the C5, 911, and M3, now, there is no other 2-seat sports car that can compete with those cars in the same price range which is what led me to the Focus ST.
I have always enjoyed hatchbacks, always have and always will. I have been test driving every offering in this segment for a month now and the Focus ST has stood out in every way. I look forward to owning a Focus ST and learning and sharing with the forum.
Thanks.
P.S. Here is a photo of my 350z on the Tail of the Dragon, hopefully, I will have a photo of my Focus ST here soon.
