Yes is has been fairly cold. I've on had it for a week tomorrow. BTW I love it. I know there are people that don't like it, but I want the thing to at least work. Then can decide if I want to disconnect it or not. I like the sound on the videos.

i found that the connector for the wiring is bad. it wouldnt lock when i push it on and would shake loose. this isnt the only connector iv noticed that is like this. my mass air flow will not lock in place either. i can just pull it off. try unplugging and plugging back in, and use a little more force to get back together. then start up car and give a rev see if it works. hopefully thats all it is. also evertime i have unplugged it and plugged in it has mad an audiable tone.

This is making me wonder if mine is working... I have no idea what I would consider audible tone?
I just came from a highly modified extraordinarily loud exhaust on a car to what I now consider to be quiet as a mouse.
Hmm...

Haha I hear ya.

This is the most civilised, softest sprung, quietest car I have ever owned!

Not artificial, just amplified :)

Plus it's the way everyone is going with the development of all of these downsized engines - even Porsche has a similar system in their current models (which can actually be turned on or off by button)

Out of curiosity, where does one find the sound symposer? can someone post pics - I'm curious if it's under the hood or in the cabin.

I have noticed that when I am stopped at idle it does not sound nearly as prominent as when I am in motion... anyone else?

Edit: An afterthought, I realized I didn't weigh in on the yay or nay and I would say that I enjoy the symposer.

Shortie I am the same way! I hadn't driven my mustang in a month or two until the other day and dang that thing is louder than I remember! And I used to daily drive it that way for years... Lol the focus is so quiet.

Think my symposer stopped working, it's gotten all too quiet the past few days
