So Friday night I ordered an epc fmic and mbrp piping kit. Spent about a thousand bucks..tonight after work I decide to look..I don't know how I didn't notice before but the shutters are gone and the fmic in place looks nothing like the stock unit and is much to large. I'd can cancel the order but it's already shipped. Should I wait till I can tear into it and see what I have already? Maybe the cpe is better?. I bought the car pre owned and just assumed it was stock. It had a CBE already but the intake and air box are factory. I feel real dumb right now. I know nothing about this car or who owned it.

Relax Bro, you can take your time, figure out what you got by posting some pics here and then decide what to do. You can trade your new IC here to other members for other upgrades etc.

It takes about an hour tops to pull off the front bumper cover, less time for a sloppy 2nd. Take a look and decide what to do from there.

Don't open your shipment. You can eat the shipping back cost and get a full return in most cases.

Not a big deal.. You may decide to keep it, install your kit, sell your old one and recoop some of the cost of the new set up. No stress.

Not really. There's only a couple IC's that are worth a damn anyhow. CPE, Steeda and Depo 5.5-3.5 The rest are crap. It's been proven time and again

My ATP seems to work pretty well. Not sure how it compares to the others, but it sure is enough for Stage 2 where I am.

The 5.5's will drop charge temp below ambient and the 3.5 will see maybe 7 degrees max. CPE makes them for Steeda and the Depo is a knock off that works just as good. Used all of them.

My levels performance works wonders in the hot Arizona desert.. and is half the price..

I was gonna wave the BS flag on this also. Now if the IC is packed in dry ice then that's a possibility.
