Curiosity mainly. Just to see how well the factory boost control works when it's dealing with something quite different than the stock hardware. Fueling is another one, also. For all this talk of people where the fuel system limit is(or isn't) it would be nice to actually see a log of a big turbo car hitting the limit and where it is.

Personally, I don't care where the data is coming from or who's tuning the car. I'd just like to see it. When it comes time to place the order for a big turbo and have it tuned I will not choose a tuner that doesn't share logs of their work. Fortunately, I'm already good to go as far as a tuner is concerned.
I'm curious about the formula for Coke, but I'm not going to stop drinking it because they won't tell me how they make it or give me any more info than what they put on the can. Nor would I expect them to.

I'm sure you can program your own turbo kit, though, so you'l be all set. :)

That's a rather poor analogy, don't you think? A $1 can of soda being compared to a $30K investment you're placing in someone else's hands? Either way, this discussion is a rather moot point at this point.

The formula for Coke is worth more than $1. I think that is the problem, the logic here is a bit off.
Not to the consumer, it isn't.
Coke also doesn't give us a chemical engineering set with each can to determine if their formula is mixed as it should be. However, Cobb does give us the tools to monitor and breakdown how well our cars are running.

You've made it perfectly clear you don't want your logs shared, that's fine and completely your right to do so. Coming from the platforms I've been in it's just not what I'm used to.

If the guy don't want to give his secret for tuning, give him a break.

Change car or do your own tuning or go skiing.

All I know is I have tried FSWerks and COBB and both tunes are fantastic.

Which is Freek, correct? Where are his upgraded turbo logs posted? Is like to see as well. I've been looking but most of those threads turn into BS back and forth.

Partially true and partially untrue. In any case, I get that people are interested in knowing all that they can. Helping people is great, but that's not the only reason why people want to see data from others and everyone who does programming knows it. If that were really the case everyone would offer FREE programming for EVERYONE. That is not the case, though, is it?

I don't mind helping my customers; that's a huge part of my job. I do have to wonder about some things, though. I mean why do people who talk trash on my programming ask me for updates? Are they lying to me or lying to others about their intentions? Why do people keep asking to see big turbo kit data logs? Between Cobb and I, we have our customers well taken care of. :)
I don't want to turn this thread to ****. So please stop playing smoke and mirrors. Your programming is free if they buy the AP FROM YOU. aka. Not free. If they bought the ap elsewhere. The tune costs 150 and word on the street is that it's 400 for a BT tune.

I stopped giving you shot in your threads, please stop ****ting up others. If you don't want to share logs, don't come into a datalog sharing thread :)

You missed my point. My programming is how I earn a living partially. Most people here keep talking about how they want to share to help the community, etc. And to that I say if it was all about sharing, the people who are promoting all this sharing would be programming for free. And not just once or twice. All the time. So that isn't happening, is it?

That is easy to understand, I hope.

I've made my point. Anyone who says that still don't get it isn't being honest with themself. Carry on. :)

Lol. You're too funny man

In one sentence tuning is how you make a living. In the next you tune for free. Read between the lines

Get em randy!

ATV Freek, you and speednismospecv...something and the guy from Stratified. You guys seems very knowledgeable. We hear alot from you BUT as a customer, I never saw a dyno or datalog from you guys. Now I don't know if you guys work together or something. When will you guys release something for the ST and stop talking. Or do you have a website we can read info from. The way I see this, from a customer standpoint, is that you guys are trying to "steel" some intellectual properties. Give us something solid we can trust. Make a reputation. I don't know if it's only me but I "think" that forum was way better with only the "Big tree" ( FSWerks, Unleashed and COBB). These guys never talk **** about eachothers.

Show'n'prove.....

Here was an intake only tune I did way back in august. Don't just look at peak numbers either. Look at the entire curve.

Which mind you was the first day randy started the hate on this forum
