I installed a 4 channel amp in my ST1 and currently it turns on and off with the windshield wipers so when the engine is off, the amp is off and there's no sound. I really would like it to stay on until the radio turns off or I open the door like normal. Also the 1-hour mode isn't usable for the same reason.
Are there any fuses or circuits that I can tap into with the "on and off wire" (not sure what the proper term is for that.) so I can restore the normal operation? Thanks

How is your amp powering on now? Most amps that use a high-level input, can sense an audio signal and turn on/off automatically. Does your amp have this option?

Or did you put the amp turn on wire to a switched 12V+? If so, look to see if your amp does what I mentioned above.

I have LC2i on my ST using speaker inputs to shut it on and off. Could be your converter causing issues.

Use a low voltage trigger for a turn on rather than the fuse. The fuse most likely is powered from the ignition, were the radio is always hot. The low voltage trigger will sense the signal from the speaker leads and give a turn on signal.
I can just walk out hit my radio on button and all my stuff turns on, no need for the ignition.
