I am not sure just a tune, dump pipe, and a filter will equate to these gains. Am I missing something?
Hennessey RS tune..gains of 60 hp and 101 ft/lbs torque???

Yeah I would agree with you there, especially after his video with the rear wheel drive ST:smile:

I remember when he first came on the scene, it's a shame that he went from the penthouse to the sh*t house...
He's been this way since the early viper days, or basically his whole career, so yeah no he doesn't deserve respect.

That guy is a joke. I really hope people do some research before giving this guy any money. Here's the thread from the RS forum

Because people are putting the car into FWD mode so they don't have to run an AWD dyno and or account for the drive line losses to the rear axle when running on a 2wd dyno. Or it could also be making too much power and shutting down the RDU to protect it, but most likely they forced it into fwd to dyno it.

LoL, its 400 flywheel HP I bet. Notice no dyno graph after tuning.
400bhp out of the car is absolutely easy. Tune+ is getting that with nothing but the 93 tune. And I bet his results are way better than Hennessey's.
Install Hennesey's tune, then ask if he'll do any revisions based on logging, he'll tell you to give him another $1000 for custom tuning. Then he'll just jack teh boost up and when it blows up 3 days later he'll say "sorry, not my problem".

That's why this forum is so dope.. I'm just sitting here scrollin thru the new posts and this thread comes up... I've always heard the name and seen a few things over the years from Hennessey but never knew all this about him..

Sounds a lot like Livernois in my opinion. They refused to take a look at any datalogs I had so they could make refinements to their ****ty tune. They insisted that the tune was "custom made" for my specific vehicle, which isn't possibly without logging of some sort. Then when I complained about it and asked for a refund they argued with me over how data logs work and how they are the best in the business blah blah blah Cobb sucks blah blah.

Seriously though, $150 (if you already have an AP) for a tune from Tune+ is a better investment than Hennessey's trash tuning package

The AWD system can be disabled for 2wd Dyno use. Otherwise if you're on an AWD dyno without linked rollers then the AWD system goes into limp mode due to the fact that the rear wheels spin faster than the fronts. All it takes is putting the car in ACC mode, holding the clutch and brake, then entering reverse gear 6 times until the TC and ABS light comes on. Boom, FWD RS without disconnecting the drive shaft.
