What I’ve been doing is engage clutch in 4th gear /switch into 3rd rev match 3 -4K depress clutch and add throttle although sometimes I wonder if I’m doing small power shifts becase of to much throttle after clutch release ??
Look up team o'neil on youtube, they are a rally school. They have a few videos going over heal/toe, downshifting, revmatching. Some good information and in car videos. After you get a better understanding of the process, you just need practice. You can do that while driving spirited or even just on your daily commute, just keep working at it
yes, i have a 3/8" spacer that i find helped keep my foot where i needed it. Lots of different sizes/options, just need to figure out if you want a little spacer or larger. Will be personal preference; goldie lox
I do same thing as when upshifting, push in clutch as I let off gas, then delay letting out clutch a bit when in new gear so revs go up higher as I give it gas so that revs match. Also, I don't downshift when stopping, only when slowing down. For stops, I just put it in neutral and brake to a stop. That's just personal preference, lot of people downshift through all the gears when stopping.
Anyone have any advice on the best catch can?
Seems Radium is the way to go but I was wondering if anyone had any preference. Thinking I'd do a mountune breather and radium. I assume go with the two can system as that would catch more. I can get deals on Mishmoto parts so considering them as...
So today i was in my 2013 st and i was sitting at idle for about 30 mins with the A/C on and noticed the sound of my exhaust changed and the rpm at idle stayed the same and the A/C was no longer blowing cold air. I started driving and pulled over to the side and noticed smoke coming from Under...
I like reading these types of threads on other forums I frequent so I figured I'd start one here as well.
As far as me, I turned 500 miles then washed it for the first time since the end of January when I bought it. I forgot how bright silver the wheels were behind all that crazy brake dust.
Didnt have much of a problem through winter, but I've been planning to buy the cpe delta fmic along with the mountune triple pass to help control temps. Since you have to go through the fmic to get to the radiator and vise versa, better to do them both together than separately. With the memorial...
