I've had this Autel AL519 for several years now; it supports the high-speed bus, has the majority of the Ford PIDs and does custom and comprehensive real-time data logging, which it can store and playback and/or transfer to a PC. Since I don't have a tune presently and want to do things like see how much my charge air temps go up this summer, this device is inexpensive and fits my needs. I appreciate it is not "professional grade".
Autel released a firmware upgrade which I tried to apply last night using their MaxiLinkII software. The upgrade completes successfully but the unit does not exit from Program Mode afterwards. It is therefore unusable.
From the Autel forums, it looks like a number of others have reported the same problem, and Autel support just says you need to repeat the upgrade process (which I have done).
Anyone else have experience with this issue?
TIA,
Mark
