Recently purchased a set of HID headlights to upgrade from my st2 stock lights and for the first 2 days they worked properly. Since then anytime i start the engine i received this

I thought my lights shipped with some cheap ballasts and plugs. So i bought a set of compatible morimotos thinking this would solve the problem, but it hasn't.

When the car is in accessory mode, the lights work fine.

As soon as you start the engine they shut off.

If your car didn't come with HID's from factory you're always going to get that bulb out warning. Unless you use the focccus app and reprogram the bcm to accept HID's. Because of their lower voltage, the car thinks you have a bulb out.

Your hid pulls less watts than the factory bulbs so the ecu thinks you don't have headlights. You need the heady duty gold resistors.
There's a company that sells a plug and play resistor setup for our car.

This should do it. You need the dual. One resistor per side.

Quick update since i posted this. The last night they started working again. The low beam fault code still came up, but both lights functioned properly. Come Monday if the problem persist ill be purchasing these resistors! Thank you guys
