So this is the turbo I am getting at this point and im sure this subject has been beat to death.Ive researched as much as I can but still have questions.I know this is a direct bolt on but on the stock turbo now i have a boomba blow off valve. Can it transfer to the 2867 or would I need to get something else? Do i need to change my stock charge pipes for this? i guess what Im asking is what I need as far as the turbo itsself to make it work?Im tuned with the adapt-x now and was probably gonna get their turbo tune as well.

New tune, New charge pipe with a vented to atmosphere bov, are about all you need. I have a cpe charge pipe and tial bov. There are others out there too.

The charge pipe you get should have the flange for your Nov. If the boomba unit isn't convertable or adaptable you'll need a new bov.

Intercooler (not sure if you have already or not)
New custom tune
cold or hot side with a external BOV, like the CPE cold side kit, or others available.

You also should get one of these

@michael_ST mentioned you might be able to buy the kit without the elbow now. I am not sure where but that would be the way to go if you can find out where.
You are able to call ATP and they can take off I want to say $200 off the price, but It may be cheaper elsewhere.

Are you referring to the boomba bov that mounts to the stock turbo in place of the stock bpv? If so, that won't work with the new turbo. You need to get a bov that will mount to your charge pipe. You can pick up a cheap metal T from AliExpress or one of the other "straight from China" sales places. You'll need a 2.25" T with a mount compatible with whatever bov you end up with. I've been running one of those on the hot side for over a year now and it's survived 30 psi without any issues.

You'll probably absolutely love the 2867 gen 2. I know I do. The car is a blast now.

I just happen to have one of those that I am not ever going to use sitting on my work bench down in the basement...

Another dumb question...Is there a difference between hot/cold side pipes when adding the BOV? I have the cold side in my cart right now with the BOV right but im seeing people using the hot side? any benefits vs one or the other?

Yeah there is practically no room on the cold side pipe, you have a high risk of false knock if it's rubbing the AC compressor or radiator support.

Do the hot side pipe (3p makes one) and you'll have a ton more room.

Are there any comparison videos between the PM and the 2867? the parts and price are adding up for the 2867 but seems like the PM is all I would need? how much better over stock is the PM? I only plan to run 93 so I wouldnt wanna tap into the fuel system. This is my daily and I currently have colder plugs, cpe intercooler,AWE track exhaust,a hot air intake, and adapt-x tune. I do plan on getting a downpipe. The way it is the car has plenty of torq but theres always the "I want more power". Im pretty happy with the way it is right now and Im starting to think that the PM would add a little more joy without breaking the bank
