Hello Brotherin,

I just put my green filter on and i had a couple questions. for those of you that have them and know a little more than i do, do you run with the air filter box cap on or off and is there any purpose for the end cap that you can buy separate for the filter? is there any power deficiency with running just the air filter without the box top and cap, visa versa.

^^what he said. But no the lid makes like 2degree difference you won't even notice. If you like the noise from the turbo keep it off

I took the lid off, put just the green filter on and haven't had any issues.

I kept the lid on, but left the little cap off.

The cap is to keep it from ingesting water in heavy rains. Seeing as I have other vehicles, I just don't drive the ST if there's a threat for severe storms.
If you leave the cap off, you get a lot more noise coming through. You can hear the turbo, you can hear induction, etc etc.

on another note, does anyone know what CAI will be compatible with the Green Filter? I know Roush does, not sure of any else.
