Yeah you had just changed the oil before the leak check dye broke down and lost it's fluorescent color. When I changed the oil at 13xx miles it was already mostly if not fully broken down into the rest of the oil.
Ford doesn't use nor recommend a special break in oil for these cars unlike some other manufacturers, but they do put some leak checking dye into the crank case when filling the engine in the factory with the standard semi-synthetic 5w30 motorcraft oil as factory fill.
