That already sounds like trouble a brewing down the road.

 

Yeah, I'm reading the manual and there's way too much electronics in there controlling way too much critical functions... some a courtesy of Microsoft. Yep, I can't see any reason why things would go wrong...

 

So what happens if the battery dies on our Key fob??? How do we open the doors or start the car?

 

OMG..I just figured out the key! Holy moly....I've had the car for a month and 1/2 and just figured this out. When you pinch the two ends of the fob, you can remove the Ford cover and there's a hidden key underneath. Cool

 

I was reading something in the manual about a physical key...thanks for the heads up...never would have found it. Now I know what's up with the key in the book! Awesome, will never be locked out...just won't be able to start the car if the key battery goes dead!

 

THAT's why I am reading the manual right now. It's not like I can go out and drive the freakin' nonexistent car anyway... so I might as well use the considerable amount of time I have before delivery to learn all I can about it. In a couple of days, if you have questions about a car I don't own yet, I'll be the guy to ask...

Thanks WorkZ. I've been driving it too much to actually read the manual. I read over it briefly, but having too much fun figuring things out driving it. What color are you waiting for? There's a Race Red for sale just up the street from me? ST2 with Moonroof and Nav I believe.

 

Supposed to hold your fob up to the hole and it will start..

LOL I'm really worried that you are being way too prophetic...

 

Does it say there's a spot to charge the fob? My mom has a Altima and there's a little hideaway that you slip the fob into and it charges it. I've seen it on other cars as well.
