Hey guys,

Have any of you ever removed your fuel filler trim? Mine needs to come out (or just away) to get some paint overspray off the extreme outside edge. Access through the fender liner? How complex?

Have any of you ever removed your fuel filler trim? Mine needs to come out (or just away) to get some paint overspray off the extreme outside edge. Access through the fender liner? How complex?

Ford calls this the "fuel pocket" and it looks like it is available separately, so I would expect it's removable. Certainly the fender liner has to come off to get the filler pipe out, so that is probably the way to go.
