We all know how valuable of a tool FORScan is and what it can do for our cars. So, let's start getting to the nitty gritty, and understand what all this program can do four our cars.

What you'll need to do anything mentioned in this thread:
  • A laptop with FORScan
  • An OBD2 ELM Cable or a bluetooth ELM cable
In order, here is what you will need to do:

1.Plug in/connect to the ELM OBD2 adapter you have either purchased, or already have.
2. Open FORScan, and click the plug to connect to your vehicle. (If you don't have a license, get a free extended license from their website, it lasts 2 months).
3. When this screen pops up, click yes to continue.
Image

4. When the screen pops up to make a new vehicle profile, do it, and save the backup to your hard drive.
5. It should now load all the control modules, and from here on we'll hit the highlights, and then go to the obscure of what you can enable or disable with your vehicle.

Since I'm limited with the amount of attachments per post, I'm going to just focus on the BdyCM (main), and hit the main things people want from it on this thread starter. Other modules will be included in replies, but let's start with the main things people want from this module, and that is Bambi Mode, and Global Windows. In addition, if there is something I miss out on, please feel free to mention it in the replies to this thread as well.

To do that, we are going to have to go into the BdyCM (main), as seen below:
Image

With any module here forward, it will be in this screen (the chip) and you will be able to find it by scrolling up and down. Click on the BdyCM as seen here, and click play.

With this module, this is the only time this screen should come up, click yes, and follow any instructions that come with it.

Once you're in, set mode to Engineering 1.

Scroll down and find Foglight function, double click click it, and set it to foglamp without restrictions, as seen here:

Click the check, and if you have engineering mode enabled, you'll have bambi mode.
We aren't done in the BdyCM (main) yet, so don't exit and save quite yet. Next, you'll probably want to enable global windows while you're in there, so find Global Open/Close, and set it up as I have shown below:
Image

Click the checkmark, and save what you've done by writing it to the BdyCM (main) by clicking Write, confirm changes, and then the stop button.

BdyCM (main) extras:
Headlight type:
Image

Set this to whatever you are using, stock is either unconfigured or 09.

Tire sizes:
Image

Set this to whatever is closest to what you're currently running, and your speedometer will be adjusted accordingly.

Battery Type:
Image
Set this to whatever battery you are running and it will be charged accordingly.

AGS Disable for stock cars:
Image

Set the Active Grill Shutter PID to this, and you will get rid of any codes you have from removing the grill shutter from a stock car.

Next, I'll get into the BdyCM and what you can do there.

Found some new ones

Removes radio menu restrictions while in motion on ST1 radio
APIM
Disable "Driver Distraction Rules"

Removes Key Fob Second Lock Press Double Honk
BCM central config
Change "Audible Mislock Feedback" to "With Audible Mislock feedback"

ST1 to ST2/3 Xenon Headlight swap coding to remove headlight fault WITHOUT parts or wiring installation
A soft DTC may still be present after but you no longer get the Yellow Headlight Fault in the Cluster and the headlights function properly just no leveling or cornering functions.
BCM central config
Change "Headlights, type" to "GDL advanced front lighting system with static bending, without leveling (XENON - NAS)"

And this one below is not new but I assume you only change this if you swap out the diff for an LSD. You DO NOT want to change this with stock differential.

Disables e-diff pull drift compensation
PSCM
disable "pull drift compensation"

Also, there are many chimes I disabled in the IPC regarding ignition off and on, belt minders and doors.

Thats all the new ones I have for now. It would greatly help if someone fully decoded every module so we know what each digit changes. We may have exact modules from the F250 that are coded exactly the same. I am not sure. Hope these changes help others out there.

EDIT this is wrong, womp womp, sorry.

Hey guys, just wanted to put something out there for my fellow peasants (ST1 owners). I acquired a set of ST3 headlights for free.99 and installed them cause I wanna try and get the cornering lights to work. I didn’t feel like wiring them just yet so I just plugged them in and found no code. Changed the headlight from 18 (incorrect/unconfigured) to 09 (bi-xenon) and got an immediate code. Changed in back and not CEL or DTC, not even soft. So I guess no need to swap settings at this point in time 🤷‍♂️

Go forward and do what you will with this info
@eferg take a look at the above reply. Been running this setup on my ST with no issues.

Yeah I read all those, but they seemed to plug in and turn right on until I needed them 😂🙄 thanks for the info!

Sorry no one answered this for months, I haven't looked at this thread in almost 2 years.

Both of these are missing on my early 2013 as well, so it might have been a later change that FoMoCo made.

If anyone needs the config files, I downloaded them while i was trying to get FORScan to run in Linux through WINE, never did find the correct place for them. Link to FORScan forum is where I found a link to a zip archive of all the ones you might need. You need the link in this section -

For some reason, in the basic settings on some updates of the IPC it doesn't show the shift setting. I'll do some digging to find the as-built codes for it, as it should still be accessible from there.

Been busy as hell getting parts made for Clayton Performance, and the reason I made this a thread was so you all could add input which I may go and link to in the opening posts if it's helpful enough.

Do you have the vin of the car it came out of? There is likely something in the BdyCM that needs switched to allow them to function again.

Yes, but these cars store the mileage internally with kilometers.
