The general consensus is that's it's an overblown problem. But beyond that, who really knows?

Most any wheel manufacturer has cracked wheels. From HRE to Enkei to lower end brands like Rota. I've road raced with Rota's and didn't die in a fiery death, yet I've been told never track with Rota's. I've seen expensive forged wheels cracked on other forums. No wheel is immune.

Forgestars are big with the BMW crowd, and we're not easy on wheels. Mainly because we drive overweight pigs, use really low profile tires, and can even buy extended wheel warranties... You know because first world problems. :p

You will not get a good answer anywhere. But you can research what folks did get to fix their issue. Was Forgestar good at replacing, or did they play hardball that the driver hit something...

I've been looking at the F14's as an option for a while now. I've done lots of searching on this forum for guys running them and have found a handful of guys running them, all with no bad experiences that I could find. Generally, they will be more expensive than a Niche wheel, but also lighter since the F14's use flow-forging vs a cast process like the Niche's.

Honestly for me and not tracking my car, my wheel buying decision has come down to style of the wheel, fitment specs, and finishes available.

For what its worth, in my research, I would have no problem running them, even on the track if I so desired.
